Traditional Services

Same Day Funeral Plan - $5,995

A contemporary version of the traditional visitation and funeral ceremony, but with all events held the same day at the same venue. Many families refrain from graveside services at the cemetery and instead opt for a celebration of life or luncheon immediately following the funeral ceremony.

This service includes:

  • local transfer of the deceased into our care at to our nearest location +
  • appropriate preparation of the deceased including embalming
  • consultation with a licensed professional, planning conference, and coordination of arrangements with others involved in the funeral
  • completion and filing of the necessary permits and authorizations
  • requesting and obtaining certified copies of the death certificate so you can begin settling your loved ones’ affairs without delay
  • internet obituary at: www.MichiganCremation.com including online guest book and social media sharing tool so family and friends are easily notified
  • reporting the death to Social Security and other agencies as needed
  • an allowance of $1995 towards the casket of your choosing from our wide selection of burial and cremation caskets
  • our Standard stationary package which includes a choice of themed guest register book, 100 coordinated memorial folders, and 50 matching acknowledgement cards -- a $195 value (state sales tax is additional)
  • viewing one hour immediately prior to the funeral service, both held in our chapel (weekday between the hours of 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) ++
  • transfer of the deceased to the cemetery, without procession, and supervision of final disposition (if choosing casketed burial) - or transfer to crematorium and our exclusive Worry-Free Cremation TM process, including our positive identification confirmation protocol, for added peace of mind (if choosing cremation)
  • complimentary grief support resources that you can access from the comfort and privacy of your home
  • other merchandise of your choosing is not included (such as the outer burial container or vault, urn, flowers, etc.)


*** None of our packaged plans include the charges of other parties that may be involved such cemetery fees, church, clergy, musician, and vocalist honorariums, paid obituary charges of the newspaper, certified copies of the death certificate, and state sales tax, unless specified. ***


+ Additional fees may apply for mileage beyond 25 miles, deaths requiring a scheduled or immediate response (facilities without morgues or holding facilities), and/or home deaths or those in excess of 250 lbs. necessitating a two-person transfer team.


++ Additional fees for transportation (hearse and service vehicle) may be added for events held off-site (at your church or other venue)
