So that you don’t have to sacrifice dignity over cost, this economical cremation offering provides our most basic services for a simple cremation without viewing or ceremonies with every aspect of your loved ones care overseen by an experienced, licensed professional.

This plan provides for a convenient and cost-saving online cremation arrangement process, with every aspect of the care of your loved one overseen by experienced, licensed, and certified professionals… so that you never have to sacrifice dignity for a cost savings, and includes:

  • local transfer of the deceased into our care at to our nearest location +
  • all arrangements and payment must be completed online, however, a limited consultation with a caring professional by telephone, facsimile, and/or e-mail is included (please add $200 for an in-person arrangement conference during normal business hours -- appointments are required)
  • completion and filing of the necessary permits, authorizations, and death certificate
  • electronic reporting of the death to the Social Security Administration
  • certified copies of the death certificate may be ordered by the family directly from the county clerk in the county where the death occurred (additional fees apply for us requesting, ordering, and obtaining certified copies of the death certificate)
  • a basic death notice on our website: www.MichiganCremation.com and if desired the posting of a family written obituary (in place of a basic death notice with social media sharing tool so relatives and friends are quickly and easily notified
  • a simple Standard size cremation container -- an alternative to a casket that encases the body and is consumed by the cremation process -- a $95 value (state sales tax is additional)
  • our exclusive Worry-Free Cremation TM process, including our positive identification confirmation protocol, for added peace of mind
  • a temporary cardboard urn for the cremated remains (a wide assortment of permanent urns, keepsake urns and pendants are available for an additional cost plus state sales tax)
  • cremated remains will be available for pick-up from our offices during normal business hours
  • complimentary grief support resources that you can access from the comfort and privacy of your home
  • no other services are included -- if something more or less is desired, please refer to our other packaged plans or our itemized general price list


*** None of our packaged plans include the charges of other parties that may be involved such cemetery fees, church, clergy, musician, and vocalist honorariums, paid obituary charges of the newspaper, certified copies of the death certificate, and state sales tax, unless specified. ***


+ Additional fees may apply for mileage beyond 25 miles, deaths requiring an immediate response (facilities without morgues or holding facilities), and/or home deaths or those in excess of 250 lbs. necessitating a two-person transfer team.
