Yvonne Sturgeon

Yvonne Ann Sturgeon, age 72, of Walker, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Mercy Health-St. Mary's Hospital, Grand Rapids. The daughter of William & Roberta (McDonald) McDonell, she was born on August 7, 1943 in Grand Rapids and had worked for many years as a nurses aide at the now Laurels of Kent Nursing Home in Lowell. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Dahkle; two sons, Michael Allersma and Rance Allersma; four sisters Linda Bolser, Diane Lambert, Debra McDonell, Vicki McDonell; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Yvonne's life from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Appletree Estates Clubhouse, 1061 Wilson Avenue N.W., Walker.
