Mrs. Wilma F. Billie (Foley) Farrell, age 94, of Friendship Village, Schaumburg, Illinois, formerly of Greenville, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2006 in Schaumburg. Born on August 11, 1911, in Sodus, New York, she was a graduate of Parsons School of Fine Arts in New York City. Although she had worked as an interior designer until her marriage to James Michael Farrell, her family was always her primary interest. In Greenville she had been an active member of the First Congregational Church, as well as a volunteer at the former United Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Farrell. Surviving are two daughters, Lynda F. Williams of Elgin, Ill., an Sharon Farrell of Battle Creek; three grandchildren, Lisa & Ray Silvey, Kelly Williams, and Shari Williams; three great grandchildren, Emily Rae, Abigail Lynn, and Joseph Farrell Silvey. Graveside committal services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville, with the Rev. Jerry Jones, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Mrs. Farrell to the Alzheimers Association (919 N. Michigan Ave., Ste. 1110, Chicago, IL 60611), the American Heart Association (3816 Payshere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674), or Vitas Hospice (590 Waters Edge, Lombard, IL 60148).
