William Wood

William Clare "Bill" Wood, age 71, of Alma, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. The son of Robert & Jean (Teachworth) Wood, he was born on June 21, 1952, in Ithaca, Michigan. Bill worked for Waste Management and most recently, Seeley Automotive. Bill enjoyed working on his vehicles, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, as well as spending quality time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Victor Wood; and an infant brother, Robert Wood. Surviving are his daughter, Tiffani Wood & Trevor Andreas of Grandville; his step-daughter, Stephanie & Henning Bote of Holland; two grandchildren, Peyton and Elvis; his brother Don & Dana Wood; his brother Patrick & Bonnie Wood; as well as his parents, Robert & Jean (Teachworth) Wood. Bill's celebration of life will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Paul Hubscher County Park in Sumner, Michigan.
