William “Bill” West passed away peacefully at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at his home in Montcalm County, with his family by his side.
Bill was known for lighting up any room he walked into with his big grin, goofy laugh, and the snacks he always kept in his pockets. To his children, he stood tall—a fighter, headstrong, ambitious, courageous, kindhearted, intelligent, hardworking, and always quick with a witty comeback.
He loved music—anything with a good beat. Some of his favorite songs included “See You Again” by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa, and “Bad to the Bone” by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. He also loved fishing, animals, and drawing, and had a great passion for fixing vehicles.
Bill worked as a maintenance technician at Clarion Technologies Inc. and often took on side jobs—truly a jack of all trades.
William will be deeply missed by many and warmly greeted by those who went before him. William is survived by his five children Ashley West, Trinton West, Terisa West, Alex “Harmony” Zander, and Dominic West. He was preceded in death by his children Patricia West and Michael West.
