William Rowe

William K. "Bill" Rowe, AKA "Telly" age 81, of Holland, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born during the Great Depression on October 27, 1939, to Ralph & Hazel (Kelly) Rowe. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, reaching rank of Airman First Class. Bill married Kathleen G. DeJonge on April 5, 1968, in Grandville. Together, they shared 52 years of marriage. Bill affectionately called Kathleen, "Lady". Their nicknames were given to them by one of the children they took care of. He was a member of Christ Memorial in Holland where he and Lady enjoyed seeing their son, Bill, as he is a member of the choir and bell choir. Bill's family was blessed by his kindness, positive attitude, sense of humor, and sharing of his talents. He made his family Halloween costumes, Dutch costumes, and other clothing, including a dress worn to high school graduation by his daughter, Terri. He also was a great cook, making the holiday as well as special occasion meals. He will be missed by his wife, Kathleen "Lady" Rowe; children, Terri (James Lam) Rowe, William Jr., Timothy, and Kimberley Rowe; sister-in-law, Sharon Rowe; childhood and lifelong friend, Robert & Marcia Zenk; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert. A Committal Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd, Augusta.
