William Weston Kirby, age 59, of Cedar Springs, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. The son of Buddy Kirby and Carla (Hall) Musser, he was born on January 1, 1967 in Sheridan, Michigan. On October 10, 1986, he married Alisa Fulger and together they enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage.
William spent over 30 years as a Hilo driver. He enjoyed spending time working on cars, two-tracking, tearing up the roads in his multiple fast vehicles (especially his Mustangs), as well as going to watch dirt track racing. Most of all he preferred to spend his time with his grandkids and his dog Sadie.
He was preceded in death by both of his paternal and maternal grandparents; his father, Buddy Kirby; his mother, Carla Musser; his oldest daughter, Stephanie Lea Kirby; his fathers-in-law, Larry Fulger and James Leslie; his brothers-in-law, Bradley Newland and Ross Towne; as well as his sister-in-law, Kaylene Marie.
Surviving are his wife, Alisa Kirby; their children, Jacklynne & Bobby Bear, and Dereck & Candi Kirby; eight grandchildren, Arianna, Lucas, Theo, William, Brailynne, Owen, Emmet, and Dom; one great-granddaughter, Myra; his step-father, Richard (Linda); his mother-in-law, Dolly Leslie; his siblings, Tracy, Trudy, Lonnie (Caryn), Trisia (Monte), Randy (Teri), Larry (Terrie), Irvin, and Terri (Charlie); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate William’s life from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Spencer Township Park, 14960 Meddler Avenue NE, Gowen.
