Mr. William A. Bill Joslyn, age 48, of Riverdale, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, July 3, 2007 near Stanton, after colliding with a coyote while riding his motorcycle to work. The son of William C. & Louise (Jones) Joslyn, he was born on Jan. 22, 1959 in Ionia. A graduate of Belding High School, Bill made a career in the tool and die trade, having worked at Master Precision Molds in Greenville, and currently at Commercial Tool & Die in Comstock Park as a cost estimator.
On Jan. 19, 1990, in Stanton, he married the former Katherine Neumann. He was an active member of Potters House Family Worship Center in Mt. Pleasant, and enjoyed motorcycling and hunting, but found his greatest joy and pleasure in his family.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Joslyn of Riverdale; their children, Dave & Ramie Harrison of Gowen, Carissa & Josh Schneider of Riverdale, Isaac Joslyn, Caleb Joslyn, Callie Joslyn, and Iara Joslyn, all at home; his mother, Louise Joslyn of Belding; two sisters, Sandra & Doug Strickling of Orleans, Cindy Anderson and Jeff Johnson of Greenville; a brother, Ed & Tracy Joslyn of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Diana Joslyn of Belding; a brother-in-law, Phil & Pam Neumann of Stanton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial services celebrating Bills life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2007 at the Potters House Family Worship Center, 5346 E. Deerfield Road, Mt. Pleasant, with a luncheon following. As Bill wished, cremation followed a private family viewing.
