William Hansen

William John Hansen, age 85, of St. Johns, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. The son of George & Hazel (Boone) Hansen, he was born on Feb. 26, 1927 in Cheboygan, Michigan, and was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Hansen retired from the Clinton County Road Commission. Survivors include his children, LuAnn Visser of St. Johns, and Roger Hansen of DeWitt. Memorial services, with military honors rendered by the U.S. Army, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fowler.
