William Greene

William Fredrick "Rick" Greene, age 48, of Stanton, passed away unexpectedly. The son of William Francis & Marcie Ann (Smith) Greene, he was born on August 7, 1973 in Lansing. On November 19, 2016, in Greenville, he married Lorie Sue Compton. Rick had been employed at the former Electrolux Home Products, enjoyed his family and church family and his dog Hershey. He was friendly to everyone and had a great smile, and best of all, he never gave up! He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kurt Greene; and an aunt, Linda Kuiper. Surviving are his wife, Lorie Greene of Stanton; a stepson Nicholas Hardy; step-mother-in-law, Stephanie Schofield; a brother, James (Anthony) Greene of Palm Springs, California; sisters, Angela (Rebecca) Greene of Belding and Heather Greene of Stanton; nephew, Camron Greene; niece, Emily Bauman; uncle, Randy (Sharon) Kuiper; and cousins, Lori (Narda) Kuiper and Randall (Emily) Kuiper. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Greenville Bible Methodist Church, 929 E. Greenbrier Street, Greenville, with the Rev. Stephen Bills, pastor of the Greenville Bible Methodist Church, officiating. at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 929 E.
