William Duffy Fulton, Jr., age 72, of Brohman, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Elaine Marie (Mahoney) & William Duffy Fulton, Sr., he was born on January 15, 1949 in Owosso, Michigan and was a graduate of Righetti High School in Santa Maria California. A proud veteran of the Vietnam War, Bill served with the United States Navy for six years and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Expeditionary Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and a Meritorious Unit Commendation. On December 9, 1972, in Santa Maria, California, he married Kathleen Marie Fulton and together they raised two children and enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage. For 35 years, Bill worked as an excavator and licensed contractor as Brohman Excavating and enjoyed his family, working in the yard, playing on his backhoe, playing cards, fishing, teaching the kids and grandkids all the "How To" things in life, sharing his knowledge with whomever was interested, and helping others with his many talents he was blessed with. A member of Amazing Grace Acres Church, Bill helped out wherever and when he was needed and loved the Lord with all his heart. Bill was a kidder and he picked on everyone that he really loved. He was a hard worker in everything that he did and had an even bigger heart - things always had to be done in a certain way for them to be right. He built two beautiful homes for his family, and helped many others build and achieve their dreams; his backhoe was his "baby" - they worked together as if they were one.
