William Frizzell

William Lynn Frizzell, 72, passed away Sunday night, March 17, 2019 at Green Acres of Wayland with his family at his side. The son of William & Jessie (Mudd) Frizzell he was born May 18, 1946 in Jackson. William will be remembered for his quick wit, good humor, and even better advice. He had a variety of favorite pastimes including; fishing, shooting, racing motorcycles and dirt biking, (many moons ago). He enjoyed horses and antique cars & furniture. William was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was decorated with the Vietnam Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. William is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by children, Zachary & Lauren Frizzell, and Sydney & David DeJong; granddaughter, Olive Frizzell; sister, Karen Winslow; nephews, Cory Winslow & Adrienne Phelps, and Troy Winslow; best friend, Bart Kiewiet; along with many beloved cousins and friends. Visitation with the family will begin 12:00 p.m., Saturday March 23rd, 2019 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E., Wyoming, 49548, with a memorial service immediately following. Pastor William Hensen will officiate, with full military honors concluding the service.
