William Charles Brown, age 60, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, Jun 14, 2015. The son of Willie & Easter (Ellis) Brown on May 21, 1955. He attended Wendell Phillips high school, then went to work in a candy factory and later worked at a moving company. He accepted Christ and participated in the daily morning Bible class with his mother .
He later met his loving companion Marilyn Theresa Burpo. They relocated to Michigan were he began to live his legacy of being a loving, caring companion, friend and neighbor. He would always lend a hand when needed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Brown; brothers, Jessie, Freddy and Andre; and two sisters, Annette and Esther. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Easter (James) Brown- Murphy; devoted companion, Marilyn Theresa Burpo; sister, Lillie; brother, Prentiss; daughter, Stephanie; step son, Quentin; mother-in-law, Marion D. Burpo; brother-in-law's, Lee Alfred, Albert, Marcus, Nathaniel (Susie) Burpo; sister-in-laws Yolanda, Patrina, Valerie Burpo. He often stated to his nieces that they were all individually his favorite one (Deanna, Latoya, Regena, Shanika and great niece Jakia). A host of nephews, cousins , family and friends.
Memorial service is from 2pm-4pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E., off of 36th St. (one block West of Eastern Ave.)
