Wayne Allen

Wayne William Allen, age 73, of Carson City, passed away on January 13, 2021 at Michigan Medicine Hospital in Ann Arbor. The son of Wayne B. & Avis Lenore (McBroom) Allen, he was born on August 3, 1947 in Lansing. On June 3, 1972, in Lansing, he married Judith Anne Henderson A combat wounded veteran of the Vietnam War, Wayne proudly served in the United States Army and was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Purple Heart. After his discharge, he worked for the State of Michigan in the Department of Corrections, retiring after 27 years of service.
