Warren Staelens

Warren James Staelens, age 74, passed away Saturday April 12, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born on July 16th 1950, in Jackson, Michigan to Charles Staelens and Norma Clark. Warren entered the Army at age 17. He served during the Vietnam War. He then spent most of his life as a salesman in the siding and home improvement industry. He worked in Lansing, Muskegon, and surrounding areas. In his early years he enjoyed camping and fishing. Warren was preceded in death by his father (Charles Staelens), mother (Norma Irish) and his two brothers (Phillip Staelens) and (Michael Staelens). He is survived by his 5 siblings: Sally (Daniel) Cramer, Melissa Robinson, Frederick (Cathy) Staelens, Margaret (Gilbert) Stockton, Dennis Irish, his four children: Sherry (James) Bender, Chad (Devon) Staelens, Brandi (Ben) Jenkins, Lisa (Jason) Woodland, 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and special friend (Linda Staelens). Memorial Service info to be determined. Interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetary in Augusta.
