Warren Lyon

Born February 2, 1974 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Warren Keith Lyon entered the world as the fourth son of Druey B. Lyon Sr and Jennifer McCant Lyon. Warren "Keith" found joy in fishing, playing his guitar, and working out. He was proud of his family's & friends' success and never ended a phone call or left a visit to his mom without telling her he loved her. During his best moments, he was never without his dimpled smile and bright eyes. Although he lived a troubled life, he will also be remembered for his infectious laughter and how quick he was to hug those he loved. In the past few months he would have discussions on the Bible, his growing relationship with God, and his struggles to follow the advice of the scripture he shared with family & friends. Survivors include four biological sons Joshua K. Lyon, Coby S. Lyon, Warren (Lyon) Huggins, Noah (Lyon) Huggins, two granddaughters, his mother Jennifer Berry (of Brownwood, TX), brothers Druey B. Lyon Jr (and wife Serena of Orange Grove, TX), Dwayne Lyon (and wife Shasta of Bangs, TX), Daniel Lyon (of Brownwood), sister Bonnie Berry (of Brownwood), step siblings Sandra Fields (and husband Joseph of Brownwood), Edward Berry Jr (of Brownwood), stepfather Ed Berry Sr (of Brownwood), special friend Mary Ramirez (of Brownwood), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Druey B. Lyon Sr, grandmothers Joy Lyon & Flora McCant, his brother Thomas Berry, Jimmy McCant (uncle), Sarah Laube (aunt). Warren Keith Lyon's life came to a close as the result of a car accident that occurred in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 14, 2023. He was a registered donor and Gift of Life Michigan notified his family he saved seven lives upon his passing on August 15, 2023, exactly 49 years after his own father's death. Family and friends would like to include a special thank you to Keith's niece Kailyn Beerman (of Michigan) for helping everyone who was able to say their goodbyes via video & phone as well as staying with him through the process.
