Waneta Leffel

Waneta Ethelyn Leffel, age 88, of Hastings, went to be with her heavenly Father Thursday, February 11, 2016. The daughter or North & Inez (Horn) Shellenbarger, she was born November 03, 1927 in Olivet. She worked at Hastings Manufacturing for over 40 years. A lover of her dogs, she also enjoyed talking to people and visiting with family. Waneta was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Leffel; and son, Clerance Norris. Surviving are her sons, Larry (Joy) Norris & Carl (Jeanne) Norris; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren. We are deeply thankful for the wonderful care mom received at Thornapple Manor. There will be a memorial service on April 23, 2016 for immediate family and details will be provided at a later date.
