Vicki Lynn Scott-DeGraff, age 79, of Greenville, Michigan, formerly of Fremont, Michigan, passed away Saturday evening, September 27, 2025 at her home under the loving care of her husband and Corewell Health Hospice.
The daughter of Howard & Ulelah Joy "Tiny" (Aiken) Scott, she was born on August 12, 1946 in Fremont, Michigan. Vicki earned her Masters of Social Work from Grand Valley State University and practiced with Hope Network for many years and taught at Baker College of Muskegon. On December 11, 1998, she married David E. DeGraff and together they enjoyed nearly 27 years of marriage. Vicki enjoyed quilting, woodworking, and various other hobbies that were outlets for her creative artistry. She also found joy in her Hawthorne Neighborhood reading group.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Matthew Dykman; and a step-son, Daniel DeGraff. Surviving are her husband, David E. DeGraff of Greenville; her son, Scott & Caryn Dykman of Montague, Michigan; her daughter, Stephanie Joy of Fremont, Michigan; her step-daughter, Sarah & Greg Lahn; two sisters, Barbara Gibson and Janet Drake & Bob Wessel; many grand and great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and special friends
Honoring Vicki’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Instead of flowers, Vicki would have appreciated contributions in her memory to Corewell Health Hospice or the Arbor Day Foundation.
