Veronica Duran Moreno

Veronica Duron Moreno, born on April 29th, 1981 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Samuel Duron and Maria Elena Moreno. She was called by the Lord on April 6th at 4am while she was home in the company of her husband, children, mother, sister and sister-in- law. Veronica was happily married to her high school sweetheart, Moises Lamas and had three wonderful children: Jasmin (18), Jocelin (15) and Manuel (13). She was a loving and dedicated stay at home mother. Veronica was a light that guided and taught those who surrounded her to be selfless. As a dedicated member of the parish community at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, Veronica enjoyed investing time guiding and helping others. She led her children and husband to serve and her daughters currently play the violin as part of the choir. Veronica's beautiful memory will be honored on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, 215 Sheldon Blvd. S.E., Grand Rapids, with visitation and the praying of the Rosary from 9-10 a.m. on Monday, with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park Ave. S.W., Wyoming. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, (616) 452-3006. Veronica estaba felizmente casada con su novio de la escuela secundaria, Moises Lamas y tuvo tres hijos maravillosos: Jasmin (18), Jocelin (15) y Manuel (13). Ella era una ama de casa carinosa y dedicada. Veronica fue una luz que guio y enseno a quienes la rodeaban a ser desinteresados.
