Uriah Olson

Uriah Daniel Olson, age two days, returned to Heaven on Tuesday afternoon, January 5, 2010 from Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. The precious son of Jesse & Hannah (Snyder) Olson, he was born on Sunday, January 3, 2010 in Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John David Olson. Surviving are his parents; a sister, Phebe Snyder; a brother, Abner Snyder; maternal grandparents, Jerry & Susan Snyder of Sheridan; paternal grandmother, Patricia Olson of Temperance; two great grandmothers, Stella Davenport of Temperance, and Ruth Olson of Eastpointe; and many aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Funeral services are at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, 12501 Montcalm Avenue N.E. off of M-57, Greenville, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 2-3 p.m. The Rev. R. Mark Shaw, senior pastor, the Rev. Dan Mead, associate pastor, and the Rev. Jerry Snyder, Uriahs grandfather, will officiate and burial will take place privately at Sheridan Cemetery.
