Tyler Maddox

Tyler "TJ" Maddox, age 24, formerly of Jenison, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at his home in Augusta. He is survived by his parents, Jay & Chris Maddox; sister, Sarah Maddox; brother, James "Tug" Maddox; a special nephew, Jacob; his special friend, Brittany; and his dog, Whiskey. TJ was a proud veteran, having served in the Infantry with the 10th Mountain Division (The "Outlaws") in Afghanistan. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday April 30, 2015 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, located at 3627 Linden Ave. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49548 (one block west of Eastern Ave.) TJ will be laid to rest on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, MI 49012 with military honors provided by the Army.
