Tygon Xavier Ashburn

Tygon Xavier “Tyger” Ashburn, age 14, of Langston, Michigan, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at home. The son of Bonnamey Crystal Garcia & Clarence Edward Ashburn, he was born on January 28, 2011 in Greenville, Michigan. Despite the challenges he faced being born with DiGeorge Syndrome, cerebral palsy and sensorineural hearing loss Tygon lit up any room, he was a student in the 9th grade at Seiter Education Center in Greenville, and delighted in… walks, wind chimes, lights and music. Surviving are his parents, Mey Garcia and Clarence Ashburn, both of Langston; five brothers and sisters, Ryan John Renaud, Samara Rose Bailey, Constantino Perez, Krystal Rose Renaud, and Caden Carlos Ashburn; his paternal grandparents, Edward & Lisa Ashburn; three aunts and an uncle, Diana Garcia, Jorge Garcia, Christina Riggs, and Mary Ashburn; and a host of cousins. Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Christiansen’s Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville.
