Tricia Johnson

Tricia Marie (Zomerlei) Johnson, age 51, of Coopersville, Michigan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 18, 2020. She was born March 9, 1969, in Grand Rapids, to Paul and Carol (Bierens) Zomerlei. On April 27, 1990, Tricia married the love of her life, Shane Johnson on the beach in Daytona, Florida. They celebrated 30 years of marriage together and had two sons, Tyler Gene Johnson and Jesse Richard Johnson. Tricia was so proud and had indescribable love for each of them. Tricia loved spending time with her family. She loved the beach, Florida and long walks with her dog(s) Goliath and De-De. Her first career passion was cosmetology. She followed her passion with obtaining her license through Chic University. Her life long career of managing Branns Steakhouse and Grille was her professional passion the last 31 years. During her time at Branns she was looked at as more than a boss. She was always a mentor, leader, listener and most important a friend to all. She loved her job and everyone she worked with. Survivors include her husband, Shane; two sons, Tyler Gene (Brianne) Johnson, Jesse Richard (Mikayla) Johnson; parents, Paul and Carol Zomerlei; siblings, Brent (Lisa), Chad, and Jason (Jane) Zomerlei. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, 616-452-3006.
