Tracy Tran

Tracy Roxanne (Dakin) Tran, age 48, of rural Greenville, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of Sheldon & Carol (Ragan) Dakin, she was born in Greenville on February 23, 1965. On May 15, 1998, in Greenville, she married Patrick Tran. Tracy enjoyed reading, bowling, bonfires and spending time with her husband in his woodshop. She delighted in her family and enjoyed indulging in chocolate. She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents; a brother-in-law, Tom Tran; and her best friend, Linda Creasap; and her beloved dog, Skeeter. Surviving are her husband of 15 years, Patrick Tran; her step-mother, Maxine Dakin; a brother, David & Ellen Dakin; nieces, Laura & Sean Canham and Rebecca Dakin; a special great-niece, Addelyn Canham; her step-children, Brad & Samantha Tran, Brian Tran & Tara Allen, and Jodie & Brooke Brasington; brothers-in-law, Alan & Brenda Tran and James & Brenda Tran; sisters-in-law, Patricia Tran and Kathy & Dan Peters; five step-grand-children, Tre, Dillon, Ashton, Cameron and Connor.
