On September 24, 1964, in Hammond, IN Anna Bell Reese & Arthur Reese Sr. became the proud parents of Tonda Elaine Reese aka (Big-D). She attended Hammond High School for 3 years, and relocated to Gary, IN, where she graduated from Wirt High School in 1982.

She met Don Edward Moore Sr. in 1979 & married him in 1982, 3 children were born to this union. They divorced & she moved to Grand Rapids, MI. She meet Randy Bertram they joined in holy matrimony on her birthday September 24, 2016. They have been together for 14 years & married for 10 of those years.

Tonda was on the move a lot, but always kept a job, she had qualifications in machine operator, quality auditor, inspect parts, and gage parts color check; rework & pack parts. She worked for Kendrick Plastics for 20 years, and always said I would never buy a car from them because they didn't pass her expectation. Big-D love her jewelry and had to have gold on each finger, she would not leave the house without it on. The casino was her 2nd home she always said I helped build that PLACE.

Tonda departed this life at 8:35 pm on Saturday in her home on October 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Reese Sr, her mother Anna Bell Woods, her brothers, Arthur Reese Jr. and Ludie J. Woods Jr.

Tonda aka Big-D leaves loving memories, to her devoted husband Randy Bertram; 2 daughters, Tanesha Moore of Grand Rapids, MI; Lakesha Moore (Abraham Aseme) of Merrillville, IN; 1 son, Don Edward Moore Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI. 4 siblings: Eddie Reese, Yavette (Gbenga) Akintokunbo, Tommie (Kimberly) Reese, Lunette (Ashley) Lott, and step sister Donita Washington (Larnell) Hennington and step brother, President (Stephanie) Washington. 5 Grandchildren; Jedidiah D. Black, Takiya Ramirez, Josiah E. Edmonds, Tyler Hollis, Jeziah A Aseme, A special mother-in-law, Betty Bertram & 2 brothers-in-law, Chris Bertram & Brian Bertram.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts & friends.
