Tomas Williams

Tomas Armando Williams, age 103, of Wyoming, Michigan, passed way peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, June 6, 2022. He was born June 22, 1918, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to the late, Federico Williams and Dulce Maria Martinez. Survivors include his children, Gilbert Williams, Pedro Julio Andino, Evelyn Engels, Orlando Williams, and Madeline Williams; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvira Morales; his parents; three sons; a granddaughter; and a grandson. Gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E. at 36th Street (one block west of Eastern Avenue), Grand Rapids, from 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m with a memorial service being celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Tomas's cremated remains will be buried in Garfield Park. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Spectrum Health Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they showed not only Tomas, but them as well during this difficult time.
