Tina Peterson

Mrs. Tina Jean Peterson, 70, of Greenville, formerly of Montague, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at her home. The daughter of Landon & Oma (Warf) Norman, she was born on Feb. 18, 1938 in Mattewan, West Virginia. Tina worked as a bank teller in Montague for many years and was an avid gardener, but found her greatest joy in her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, Georgia Coleman, Shirley Sargent, Ruby Dehart, Faye Blankenship, Lana Norman, and Barabra Hinkle Lester; and four brothers, Landon Buddy Norman Jr., McDonald Norman Sr., Emanuel Norman, and Matthew Norman. Surviving are her children, Teresa & Don Burel of Greenville, Richard & Beth Peterson of Clarksville, Tenn., Timothy & Michelle Peterson of Lake City, and Patrick Peterson of Austin, Texas; eleven grandchildren, Kylie & Paulie Forsythe, Erin Burel, Reid Burel, Nicole Peterson, Matt Peterson, Kyle Peterson, Brittany Guinn, Cade Peterson, Drew Peterson, Brett Peterson, and Alyssa Peterson; four sisters, Lora & Clarence Dotson, Patricia Norman, Janice & Robert Snover, and Judith Miller; two brothers, Henry & Cathy Norman, and Denver & Pat Norman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
