Timothy John Vogel, 77, of Six Lakes, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Born on July 29, 1946, in Alma, MI, Tim was a man of humble beginnings who grew to become a successful business owner and proud Vietnam Veteran. Tim was a graduate of Saint Louis High School, graduating with the class of 1964. His kindness, generous spirit, and hard work ethic will be remembered by all that had the honor of knowing him. Tim was an adventurous soul whose passions lay in the great outdoors. He found immense joy in hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family. His humble demeanor and generous spirit shone through in all his interactions and endeared him to all who met him. He was a dedicated businessman who, for over 20 years, owned and operated the Six Lakes Tavern. His love for his work was evident in the warm, welcoming atmosphere he created, which became a popular gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. Tim is survived by his sister Pamelia Everdeen and her husband Rodger; their children Tammy (Steve) Sowles, Daniel (Bonnie) Everdeen, and Bob (Giovonna) Everdeen; and special friend, Amy Moran. Great nieces and nephews; Allison (Travis Williamson) Everdeen, Jack (Madison) Everdeen, Shaina (Collin) Costello, Alan Everdeen, Alex Everdeen, Tyler Everdeen and Gage Everdeen. Time also had four Great Great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Clio Vogel, and great nephew, Spencer Sowles. The legacy of Tim’s generous spirit, humble heart, and adventurous life will live on through his loved ones.
