Thomas J. Whitmyer, age 61, of Battle Creek, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The son of James & Mary (Ackerman) Whitmyer, he was born on February 6, 1953 in Dowagiac, Michigan. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
