Thomas Willard Medler, age 61, of Deerton, formerly of Trufant, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18,2013 from his home. The son of Donald & Virginia (Miller) Medler, he was born on October 17, 1951 in Greenville and graduated from Lakeview High School with the class of 1969.

Tom worked at Electrolux in Greenville for 28 years before semi-retiring to the Upper Peninsula in 2007. He enjoyed driving bus for Marq-Tran (Marquette transit). His love of outdoors was apparent as he enjoyed softball, riding the "mule", bonfires, camping in the U.P. and spending as much time as he could with family and friends. He had a contagious smile that could light up any room and had no problem making friends. He will be missed by so many.
