Thomas Leroy Williams

April 12, 1962 — November 22, 2025

Thomas Leroy Williams, age 63, of Dimondale, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 22, 2025. Thomas was born on April 12, 1962, in Eaton Rapids to Clifford and Stella (Nagel) Williams. He graduated from Mason High School in 1980.

After completing high school, Tom dedicated 45 years of diligent service to the Meijer warehouse. Throughout his long tenure, he built enduring friendships and earned widespread respect for his commitment, work ethic, and loyalty. He retired with a career he could truly be proud of. Beyond Meijer, Tom’s passion for cars was a defining part of his life. He owned and operated a successful car-detailing business that he took great pride in, often working side by side with his dad, as his loyal unpaid sidekick. Tom was also a familiar presence at Morning Glory, where he enjoyed both the food and good company. In his leisure time, he was a devoted admirer of Yellowstone and Dallas, following each series with remarkable dedication.

Above all, Tom was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. Becoming a grandpa to Adelyn was one of the greatest joys of his life. His daughter was the highlight of his world from the moment she was born, and remained endlessly proud of the woman she grew to be. He embraced her husband, Mike, as a son and cherished the family they created together.

In 2020, Tom moved to Windsor Estate, where he quickly became the heartbeat of the community. Often found sitting outside in the sunshine and his ever-present tan becoming something of a trademark—he was the first friendly face people saw as they drove in. He waved at everyone, offered warm greetings, and made each neighbor feel noticed and welcome. Many fondly knew him as the unofficial “gatekeeper” of the neighborhood, not because it was a job, but because he cared. He kept an eye on things, checked in on neighbors, shared news, and created connection wherever he went. His kindness, watchful presence, and genuine love for people made him not just a resident, but a pillar of the community. His legacy at Windsor Estate is one of community, warmth, and love that will never be forgotten.

Tom is survived by his beloved daughter, Amanda; his cherished granddaughter, Adelyn; and his son-in-law, Mike Martimore, whom he loved like a son. He is also survived by his parents Stella & Cliff; his brother, Randy and sister-in-law Sandi Williams; nephews Jess (Ellen) Williams, Cody Williams, and Thomas Solomon; niece Samantha (Kyle) Epps; and great-nieces Lily and Madison, and great-nephew Hudson. He leaves behind many dear friends who will miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lori Williams.

Tom will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and the deep love he had for family and community. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held December 13, 2025 from 1:00–3:00 PM at the Windsor Estate Clubhouse, 6661 N. Canal Rd., Dimondale, MI 48821.
