Thomas D. Amante, age 74, of Martin, passed away Wednesday evening, August 25, 2010 with his family at his side at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. Tom will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 31 years, Elizabeth M. Amante; his children, Terri (Jim)Duthler, Brian (Michelle) Amante, Shelly (Cullen) DeWolfe, Rob (Claudia) Amante, Karen (Tony) Proscia, Pat Olin, Michael (Alicia) Olin, Beckie (Mike) Baird; along with 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Tom is survived by his brothers and sisters; Robert (Peggy) Amante, Marianne (Douglas) Richards, John (Barbara) Amante, Kathleen (John) Worrell and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar Street, Wayland, with a luncheon following.
