With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Theresa Marie Truchan, known to friends and loved ones as Terri. Born on October 23, 1975, in Howell, Michigan, Terri left us too soon on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Corewell Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She called South Range, Michigan, her home for 31 years, where she lived a life full of love and resilience. Terri faced life's challenges with bravery and positivity.
Terri was known for her spunk and sass, unafraid to live life on her terms. She was the proud alumna of Jeffers High School in Painesdale, Michigan. She spent many years working in customer service, where she enjoyed interacting with people from all walks of life. Terri was a woman of determination and courage. Despite her health struggles, she remained optimistic. Terri found joy in spending time with her beloved cats, watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys and professional wrestling. Most importantly, in the company of her children, whom she loved dearly. Her love for trail riding and her fond memories of her customers from her working days are testaments to her vivacious spirit.
Theresa is survived by her sons, Tyler (Kimi) Andrews and Brandon Andrews; her grandsons, Liam and Toby; her sister, Jennifer (Jim) Millsap; her sister Rebecca (Mathew) Godar; her brother, Austin (Angie) Truchan; and her step-brother Jesse (Candice) Thompson. She is also survived by her stepmother Ann Thompson. Her nieces and nephews, Alexander, Victoria, Gage, Zily, Ethan, Sophia and Savana, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members, who will dearly miss her. She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Truchan; her mother, Cathleen Truchan; and her grandparents, John and Helen Truchan.
A celebration of life for Theresa will be arranged at a later date.
