Theresa Shefsky

Theresa Marie Shefsky, 56, passed away Thursday, April 4th, 2019, at home under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice, with her family at her side. The daughter of William & Denise (O'Brien) Shefsky, she was born August 9, 1962 in Royal Oak. Theresa will be remembered for her love of the outdoors, she enjoyed being out in nature and had a passion for fishing. Theresa also loved gaming. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Tina Wilson. Theresa is survived by her life partner, Sharon Hughes; Sharon's son, Charles; brother, William Shefsky Jr., brother-in-law, Greg Wilson; brother & sister-in-law, Duwayne & Jen Ruggirello; nieces, Sara, Rylie, Kimberly, and Annie; nephew, Evan; great niece, Liddy; and great nephew, Dwayne; along with many beloved friends. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. No services have been planned at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
