Theodore Cote

Theodore J. Cote, 71, passed away Sunday evening, March 31st, 2019 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans with his family at his side. The son of Frank & Ruth (Lugefet) Cote, he was born June 28, 1947 in Detroit. Theodore was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War, and was decorated with the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Navy Unit Commendation. He is survived by daughter, Scarlett & Bryan; grandson, James & Felicia Cote; four great grandchildren, Izebella Cote, Nevaeh Cote, Katalaya Cote, and Kamden Cote; brother, Rick Cote; along with many nieces & nephews. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation with the family will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday May 24th, 2019 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans with a memorial service immediately following.
