Terry Burns

Terry Allen Burns, age 66, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away at his home surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born July of 1954, in Grand Rapids, to Franklin and Verna Mae (Henning) Burns. Terry married the love of his life, Sandra Schwander in 1986. Terry worked over 31 years at Dyna Plate as a waste treatment supervisor. Terry "King Handsome" will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 34 years, Sandy; precious children and grandchildren, Josh (Rita) Burns and their children, Jacob, Jordan, and Brooklyn and Heather McLain and her children, Felicia (Dakota) Jarvis and Paradise and Alexis McLain; loving siblings, Judy Shalhoup, Debbie Burns, Connie Howland, Shirley Brewer, Bobby Dewhurst, and Sandy Robinson; several nieces and nephews; and his extended family, Chris (Bruce) Carlton-Harris, Lance Carlton, and Wendy Jo Carlton. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Ray Burns & Lynne Vos. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held.
