Terissa Kerr

Terissa Kerr, age 50, of Lansing, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. She was born on November 12, 1970, in Lansing to Robert and Darlene (Misener) Kerr. Terrisa was a book worm. She loved to read and would spend her days diving into her next favorite novel. She was also a big advocate for dog rescue, owning many rescue dogs herself over the years. Terrisa loved nature as well. She loved flowers and watching birds dance around her hanging planters and feeders she had around her house. She was kind woman, who was willing to give a helping hand wherever she was needed, including for those who were only strangers. Although she was a kind woman- she was also a fierce spirit. Terissa loved her grandsons and would frequently pop in unannounced to surprise them treats and toys. She was very close with her children Chelsea and Jarrid. Terissa is survived by her two children, Chelsea and Jarrid; three siblings. Robert, Barbara and Carrie; two grandchildren, Noah and Isaac, and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her both of her parents. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 616-452-3006.
