Teresa Campbell

April 23, 1953 — October 3, 2020

Teresa Anne Campbell, age 67, of Spencer Township, passed away Saturday morning, October 3, 2020 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital after defeating cancer three times. The daughter of Darlene Mae (Johnson) & Donald R. Harper, she was born on April 23, 1953 in Greenville. She was a graduate of Greenville High School, and on May 9, 1970, in Gowen, she married David Leroy Campbell and together they raised two children and this year celebrated 50 years of marriage. Teresa also worked outside the home as an accounting clerk and customer representative with The Title Office. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining family and friends, and was active in the women's ministry at her church, Spencer Mills Church, but most of all Teresa delighted in time spent with her family -- especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Wesley Harper. Surviving are her husband, David Campbell of Gowen; her children, David L. Campbell II & Sheryl Conley of Ionia, and Melissa & Adrian Flintoff of Belding; five grandchildren, Andrew, Skylar, Jorrdin, Maddison, and Gary; ten great-grandchildren, Ryan, Makaela, Savannah, Hailey, Hunter, Lani, Beau, Avella, Oliver, and Orion; sisters and brothers, Susan & Tom Randall, Cindy & John Higgins, Bob & Kim Stahl, Burnett & Ammy Stahl, Shane Stahl, and Cherie & Jerry Wilson; a maternal uncle and aunt, Ferris & MaryAnn Johnson of Gowen; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life gathering is being planned and will be held at a later date. Instead of flowers, Teresa would have appreciated contributions in her memory to either Alpha Family Center of Greenville, Mel Trotter Ministries, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville, (616) 754-5638.
