Tally Mcmullen

March 14, 1963 — March 22, 2018

Tally Jo (Hart) McMullen "Wild Child", 55, of Lansing, MI was called home to be with God on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018. She passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side after years of battling illness. Tally was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Hart and Linda (Knott) Thayer. She is survived by her siblings, Tori Hart, Cheyenne (Kevin) Gyebnar, and Roger Thayer, Kristi (Tim) Atwell, and Casey (Eric) Steidle. She is also survived by her five children, Tesha (Rene) Gelista, Tara (Thomas Phaneuf) Beebe, Taloni-Rae Witherell, Tayla (Paul Deleon) Witherell, and Comanche Clay. As well as her 7 grandchildren, Rene Jr, Onelicia, Onalaysia, Aniyah, Tegan, Ezekiel, and also another special girl on the way. Tally was born on March 14, 1963 in Lansing, Michigan. She attended Everett High School and years later as an adult, she proudly earned her GED. Tally spent as much time as possible with her family, whether it was a backyard barbecue, a night out, or just simply doting over her grandchildren who she was so proud of; ensuring their memories will be filled with smiles and kisses. Tally loved dancing to live music and spent many nights out with friends and family doing so. Anyone who knows Tally knows that, outside of her family and friends, she was never happier than when she was on a bike heading out to one of the many adventures she shared with her DBMC family. She spent many of her younger years (prior to having kids), hitchhiking with her sister down to Lockport, IL.to spend time with her friends and family there. She was known to go out of her way in order to help someone just to see the smile she would receive in return. Tally lived life to the fullest; experiencing both victories and setbacks, only to come through each as a stronger version of herself. In her short fifty five years, she touched so many lives in such a way that they cannot help but smile when she crosses their mind. We are set at ease a little knowing that her father (Gordon) and her mother (Linda) was there to welcome her through the gates of heaven with a warm hug, a loving smile, and an offer from her mother to participate in that nights bingo. We cry as a family in remembrance, but join together as a family to celebrate her life. Join us to celebrate Tally's life on Monday, April 2, 2018, held at the Diamondbacks MC at 7037 Windsor Hwy., Potterville, MI. 48821. The doors open at Noon and the memorial starts at 1:00pm.
