Suzanne Neuman

Suzanne (Neely) Neuman, age 84, of Grand Haven, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 13, 2023. She was born June 9, 1939, in Grand Rapids, MI to the late David and Ruth (Boese) Neely. At the age of 20, Susie married the love of her life, Gordon Neuman on July 17, 1959, in Grand Rapids. Susie and Gord opened Coop's Party Store in Fruitport. Their next adventure brought them to Grand Haven where they owned and operated Pavilion Wharf Bar and Grille. They celebrated 47 years of marriage together before Gordon passed away on November 23, 2006. Sue enjoyed traveling, camping, knitting and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church in Norton Shores. Susie is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Neuman, Melissa Muskovin, and Jennifer Neuman Williamson; and grandchildren, Zachary Muskovin, Jordan Muskovin, Olivia Williamson, Benjamin Williamson, and Grace Hoisington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; infant son, Mark Neuman; and her parents. Susie's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Robbinswood Assisted Living Community and Hospice of North Ottawa Community for the help, care, and compassion they have shown Susie and the family throughout this difficult time.
