Susan Johnson-Winkle

Susan Johnson-Winkle passed away peacefully at home on May 24th, 2025 at the age of 63. Susan was born on September 9th, 1961 in Groveland, Massachusetts. She had three children, Kristeana, Katie Lynn, and Andrew. Her family will forever remember her for her kindness to strangers and love of animals. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Natalie and Edward Johnson; her sister, Martha Gagne; and daughter, Katie Lynn Winkle. Susan is survived in life by her devoted husband, Richard Winkle; their daughter, Kristeana Veenstra and her husband Tracey; their son, Andrew Winkle and his wife Noelle; and her brothers, Bill, David, and Larry Johnson. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at American Legion Post 179 Neal E. Fonger, 2327 Wilson Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534. Donations in her memory and in lieu of flowers, can be made to Operation Christmas Child or the Special Olympics.
