May 29, 1961 — June 6, 2012

Susan Jane (Bolt) Gill, age 51, of Grand Rapids, MI, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, following a brief illness. Susan was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and a good friend to many. We will miss Susan's sense of humor, warm personality, and her loving Christian example. Her passion was working with children and youth as an advisor, leader, and caring friend in her many years as a Youth and Children's Pastor. Susan was educated at Calvin College, WMU, and Western Theological Seminary. Susan loved our Lord, glitter, stars, magical moments, Jimmeny Cricket and having fun. She is deeply missed and survived by her husband John, mother Mae Bolt; siblings Steve (Jean) Bolt, Sandy Balkema, and Sharon (J) Verhougstrate, 4 nieces and nephews, and one great niece. A Celebration Memorial Service will be held Sunday evening,July 1st, at Immanuel Reformed Church with Pastor Brian Smilde officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Susan's memory may be made to Immanuel Reformed Church Susan Gill Memorial Fund (IRCSGMF). Arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care.
