Susan (Kurtz) Delmar, age 60, of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The daughter of John & Luretha (Butler) Kurtz, she was born on July 3, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pa. and worked in sales for Viva International. Surviving are her husband, David H. Delmar III of Grand Rapids; their daughter, Nicole, and her husband, Krishna; grandchildren, Maddie, Libby, and Jude, all of Kalamazoo; a sister, Carolyn (Herb) Toy of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Mary (Randy) Hamp of Lowell; two nieces, Jessica and Judy; and three nephews, Joe, Jeff, and Jason. Friends and family are invited to a celebrate Susan's life at a gathering on Monday from 12-3 p.m. at the Great Lakes Shipping Co. Restaurant, 2455 Burton S.E. at Breton, Grand Rapids.
