Sue Rae Miller, age 65, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 19, 2025 in the emergency room at Corewell Health-Greenville Hospital. The daughter of Max & Beverly Jean (Edgecombe) Emery, she was born on October 22, 1960 in Breckenridge, Michigan.

On October 26, 1984, in Belding, she married Robert L. "Bob" Miller and together they enjoyed 36 years of marriage until Bob passed away on December 4, 2020.

Sue had worked at the former Electrolux Home Products in Greenville until the plant closed in 2006, was self-employed as a Herbalife distributor, had worked as receptionist at the Laurels of Kent in Lowell during the COVID-19 pandemic, and more recently was a Foster Grandparent with Eight-Cap, as well as volunteering at the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post 101 in Greenville, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her father, Max Emery; her mother, Beverly “Bev” Knickerbocker; her husband, Robert L. "Bob" Miller, Sr; and her brother, Roderick Emery, her step-father, Bernard “Nick” Knickerbocker; and her siblings in law, Lee Kibler, Jeff Miller, and Calvin Miller, Jr.

Surviving are her children, Bobbie Jo & Scott Bower, Robert "Rob" & Christa Miller, Jr., and Rodney Miller; her grandchildren, Robert Miller III & Kala Vining, Nathan & Caitlin Bower, Jacob Myers, Natalie Bower & Duchovny Barker, and Elijah Lee Miller, Garrett Purchase, Darren Purchase, and Breann & Mark Ward; five great-grandchildren, Lilah Miller, Vera Miller, Ruby Lee Bower, Jayden Ward, and Rowen Ward; a sister, Lucinda “Cindy” Jensen; siblings-in-law, Barbara Crawford, Kenneth & Patricia Miller, Sr., Gary Miller, Sr. & Michele Graveline, Pam Miller, and Marian & Gerald Hancotte; step-siblings, Tina & Wayne Winchester, and Wayne & Jane Knickerbocker, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Sue's life from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post 101,1320 W. Washington Street (M-57), Greenville.  Instead of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
