Stuart Wright

Stuart Dean Wright, age 82, of Gowen, formerly of Wyoming and Clarksville, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at home. The son of Clarence & Marion (Rasmussen) Wright, he was born on February 8, 1938 in Wyoming. A proud Vietnam era veteran, Stuart served stateside in the United States Army and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He retired from Olive Machinery where he worked for 52 years as a machinist. On February 12, 1962, he married Donna Mae Farr and together they raised three children and enjoyed 46 years of marriage until Donna passed away on November 23, 2008. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Committal services, with military honors, are at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, where burial alongside his late wife, Donna, will follow privately.
