Steven Osborn

Steven L. "Steve" Osborn, age 71, of Dimondale, passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2022 with family at his side. Steve was born July 4th, 1951 and lived most of his life in Dimondale, Michigan on the farm. He graduated from Holt High School and then served four years in the United States Navy. Upon returning home, he worked for the State of Michigan as a maintenance mechanic for 25 years. If you knew him, you always knew where you stood. If you didn't, it wasn't because he didn't tell you. Had swearing and making inappropriate comments been Olympic events, he would have certainly brought home the gold. Steve enjoyed the outdoors, loving the thrill of reeling in a big fish or getting a good buck in his sights. While he loved being outdoors, he loved the razzing that happened with his hunting and fishing partners the most. He was also an avid reader of westerns and enjoyed a lively game of cribbage. Steve is survived by his sons, Chad (Brittany) Osborn and Nathan Osborn; his grandchildren Matthew, Xavier, and Knox; his siblings Sherry (Chuck) Henderson and Eric (Kim) Osborn; his "Ma" Joyce Osborn; extended family; and his "girls" at Country Acres who took care of him right up to the end. Steve was preceded in death by his dad, Lee Osborn; his brothers Kirk and Mark Osborn; and his beloved friend and companion Annie. Per his wishes there will be no funeral service.
