Steven Obuchowski

Steven Thomas Obuchowski, age 82, formerly of Ossineke, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods, Byron Center, Michigan. The son of Steven & Rosalie (Halabis) Obuchowski, he was born on December 30, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. He was employed with Catholic Social Services, and retired as the Friend of the Court in Alpena County in 2006. Steve enjoyed racquetball, boating, and casinos. He delighted in time spent with family and on the water – especially Lake Huron. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Carol O’Connor: his children, Steve (Diane Silva) Obuchowski, Mike Obuchowski, and Ann (Jason Waxberg) Obuchowski and 10 grandchildren. Private family celebration of life will be held. Instead of flowers, Steve would have appreciated contributions in his memory to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
