Shirley Vandersloot

Shirley Ann VanderSloot, age 60, of Wyoming, passed away Wednesday evening, January 25, 2012 at her home under the loving care of her family and Faith Hospice. The daughter of Lawrence & Janette (Vanderhide) Lipscomb, she was born on March 19, 1951 in Grand Rapids. Survivors include her husband, Tom VanderSloot of Wyoming; their daughter and a son-in-law, Barbara & Bob Shelswell; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug & Cheryl Lipscomb, and Jim & Jan Lipscomb; and several nieces and nephews. Following a private family viewing, entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids and a memorial service for friends, neighbors, and relatives is being planned and will be announced later.
