Shirley Sidebotham

Shirley Jean Sidebotham, age 77, of Middleville, MI went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 21, 2020. She was surrounded by her children. Shirley is remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and a very special grandmother and great grandma. She was a genuinely sweet, selfless person with a servant heart. Family and her dog were the center of Shirley's life and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed fishing and playing games (marbles and cards). She especially loved sitting in the sun on the beach with her toes in the sand. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Phillip Sidebotham, her brother, William Boonstra, Jr., brother-in-law, Carroll Billett, her great grandson, Foster Grant Henderson, and her parents, William and Francis Boonstra. She is survived by her children, Ray Sidebotham (Karen), Cindy Ordway (Dave), and Kim Finkbeiner (Scott); grandchildren, Ellen and Evan Sidebotham, David Ordway (Kiley), Emma Henderson (Corey), Aaron Ordway, Megan McKeown (Michael), and Trever Finkbeiner (Molly); seven great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Jan Visser, Darlene Billett, Martin Boonstra, Melvin Boonstra, Patricia Sines, Rose Duemler, Francis Huff, and Sherry Poll; sister -in-law, Sandy Mazzola and their families. The family extends a very special thank you to the staff of Spectrum Health Hospice and the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Center. Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
